Mr. Herman has over 18 years of experience representing the injured and disabled, with an emphasis on handling workers' compensation claims. He is recognized around the state as a leader in advocating for injured workers' to insure that their rights are protected and that they receive all the benefits that the law provides. He has developed an expertise in high value catastrophic injury claims under the Georgia Workers' Compensation Act.

Mr. Herman has extensive experience at all levels of litigation, both in personal injury cases and workers' compensation claims, having tried a significant number of cases around the State, including appearances before Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court. He has been a frequent lecturer on workers' compensation issues at educational seminars for attorney's who practice workers' compensation.  Mr. Herman has been selected as one of Georgia's Super Lawyers by Atlanta magazine.

Mr. Herman is also committed to giving back to his profession and his community. He is active in both the Macon Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia, having served in numerous leadership positions in both organizations. He has served on the Executive Committee of the Workers' Compensation Claimant's Lawyers Section of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, since 1999. Mr. Herman is active in his church, having served on and chaired numerous committees, in addition to singing in the choir.

Mr. Herman is married and is the proud father of two daughters.
