I was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 20, 1977. I attended Briar Vista Elementary School and Druid Hills High School. I then applied and was admitted into the University of Georgia, in Athens, Georgia. While at the University of Georgia, I minored in Spanish and majored in Political Science. I studied abroad at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico and completed my Global Studies Certificate. Upon my graduation from the University of Georgia, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts Degree. I am fluent in Spanish.

I graduated from the University of Georgia and was accepted into the Georgia General Assembly as the Aide to the Georgia State Senator Don Balfour. I served for a year and then worked with my father in his Optometry Practice. I then pursued my goal of becoming an attorney and joined the law firm, Kessler & Solomiany, where I worked as a law clerk for a year. I then applied and was accepted at John Marshall Law School in Atlanta. While attending law school, I worked as a law clerk at the law firm David Crosby and Associates. Judge David Crosby retired as a Magistrate Judge in Dekalb County, Georgia and now has a private practice of law. I graduated from John Marshall Law School in 2010 and sat for and passed the Georgia Bar in 2011.

I was then given the honor to join the prestigious law firm in Macon,Georgia, Westmoreland, Patterson, Moseley and Hinson, LLP and I now practice law in the area of Social Security Disability. I am also a Certified Mediator in General Civil Mediation.
